WALTHAM, Mass., April 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tecogen^® Inc. (NASDAQ: TGEN) today announced the sale of an InVerde^® Ultra, INV-100, combined heat and power (CHP) unit to provide heat and domestic hot water to a public high school located in Northern New Jersey. 

The unit will cut annual energy costs and, through Tecogen's patented low emissions system, Ultra, will nearly eliminate the production of criteria pollutants, the compounds contributing to smog. The unit will also provide the school with emergency back-up power.
